Acne Study for Kids Ages 9 to 11 - Now Enrolling
While most people associate acne with teenage years, it is not uncommon for acne to start even younger. Although there are many treatment options available, they do not work for everyone and sometimes cause unwanted side effects.
CABTREO™ is an FDA-approved acne medication currently only available to people 12 years of age and older. However, doctors at select centers in the US are conducting a new clinical study to carefully evaluate CABTREO™ for the treatment of acne in younger people.
If your child is 9 – 11 years old and struggles with acne, we invite you to see if this new clinical study may be right for you. If you qualify and choose to join the study, your child will be seen by a local specialist and will receive all study-related care at no cost.
As part of the study, you and your child will meet with your study doctor up to 8 times over a 4-month period to evaluate your child’s progress. You will be compensated for your time to attend these visits, up to a total of $450.
